One of my favorite things to do is watch a movie from netflix and then research other movies the actors have been in. Such as Anton Yelchin, whom I just finished watching in Fierce People. I think this movie might have been better on the big screen, because the sets (indoor and outdoor) were lavish. I also love Diane Lane.
I couldn’t remember what I’d seen him in before, but it turns out he was the younger version of the David Duchovny character in House of D, which I remember loving. Interestingly, Tea Leoni plays Duchovny’s mother (and she’s his wife IRL).
And of course, he’s the main character in Charlie Bartlett, which I haven’t seen.
And apparently he starred in a movie with Justin Timberlake, called Alpha Dogs. From all your comments, I think I’ll avoid this one.
And he’s going to be in a new release of a Star Trek movie.

alpha dog is a really good flick. but it becomes very disturbing when you realize it’s based on a real story.
I get like researching all about the movie background and actors too. I just saw Chasing Liberty. A few weeks ago I saw another Mandy Moore movie.
The only one I’ve seen of those you listed is Alpha Dog … wow… I have never heard so much foul language in a movie in my entire life, and yes, it is very disturbing — not just the foul language, but even moreso the story being based on a true story and that they put it out in the theaters just as one of the guys was going to court… I hated the movie, but I can’t fault it for what it was trying to do in portraying the story it was telling – it was very very well done, and it definitely sticks with you, whether you like it or not. Very disturbing. Very disturbing. At least your guy was the good kid… sort of… if anybody in that movie could be called a good kid…
